I’m Empty (A Lost Poem)

Where you lay might be shallow as a grave or empty as my broken heart.

But I promise you there is nothing emptier than a man without a purpose.

Wake up every day and try achieving the impossible is the sole definition of motivation, like Hercules the mighty and powerful challenged to achieve tasks done never before and coming out victorious, I stand tall facing all my fears and challenges knowing well within me I will take a man to achieve the impossible. So, I walk into this empty leaving behind all my fears like a man who has faced death several times and stared at death right in its face and told it “I'm EMPTY, you can take me”.

They say “a coward dies many times before his death but the brave face it heads on”

Depressed and broken by the many happenstances of life

I'm Empty

I wish I had better rhythms to WOW you reading this right now and make me look fancy, but I don’t. This is just me putting ink to paper with words coming naturally unedited, raw and majestic, facing my fears one word at a time and hoping for the best.

I'm not happy or sad ….. Just empty

I who was once full of life and enthusiasm, positivity, and hope feel so hollow and lied to by life and the very reason for my existence.

But I won’t give up just yet. Not when I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, the light-beaming hope, and fortune for a new day, A new adventure awaits him who wishes to face his fears with an empty soul and a burning desire to live.
