The Toxic Culture of Clickbait

First off, I am not here to criticize the practice but rather to point to the fact that most often these Ads are misleading. I will totally love click baits if they actually delivered what they promised on the capture. But most often, they don’t. So yeah, navigate the internet wisely.

Everyone on the internet at this time must have run into an Ad promising a get-rich-quick scheme. As a person with a full-time job in finance, I promise you there is no way you will either copy and paste stuff, listen to music or do whatever they promise, and you get paid $20 an hour I promise you that. Don’t you think if there were such jobs people will quit their regular stressful jobs where they barely make $15 an hour and jump on those?

Click baits are fantasies made up by someone seeking attention and views and if you don’t get that early on, then you will be f****d chasing a dream that will never be. I am not saying everything you will see that looks too good to be true will be false, what I am saying is whatever you see on the internet that looks too good to be true will very likely be false (clickbait) a writer's fantasy.

Most click baits promise a life-changing experience, but I promise you they are often people selling courses or an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) scheme. You don't want to get involved in an MLM scheme; it is very likely you will be at the base of the pyramid. From there, you will start asking yourself why you even got involved in such a thing. then you will tell yourself “I got f****d chasing a dream that will never be

There is no shortcut to getting rich quickly. Everyone that got rich will tell you about the grind and the hustle put behind every buck they made.

Statistics show click baits actually work. Most people will click on an enticing image or get attracted to things that seem easy enough to achieve. Nobody will be attracted to an Ad that reads “Make $10 an hour doing chores or complicated stuff”. I love click baits and even will be using them ahead, but I am not promising you heaven or a pot of gold. I am only promising you the truth. There is somewhere that says, “the Truth shall you free” and I believe in that.

So, guess what if it's too good to be true then it is very likely it is false. You will never get rich quickly except by immense luck and fortune being your way. Wall Street bets won’t make you rich😏. If you have a dream, chase it work hard, and if you are lucky enough you will make it.
